Amanda and Nicholas were married on October 24, 2025, celebrating a classic Western New York fall wedding that blended timeless architecture, waterfront romance, and an incredible group of family and friends. As a Buffalo wedding photographer, this day was a perfect example of why fall weddings in Buffalo are so special.

Portraits at the Buffalo History Museum

We began the day with wedding portraits at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park-adjacent landmark, the Buffalo History Museum, located at 1 Museum Ct, Buffalo, NY 14216. This iconic Buffalo wedding photo location offers grand white columns, marble steps, and surrounding fall foliage—ideal for elegant and editorial-style wedding photography.Bride twirling under groom’s arm during wedding portraits at the Buffalo History Museum in Buffalo, New York.

The soft October light paired beautifully with Amanda’s gown and Nicholas’ classic black tux, giving us a clean, timeless look that will never go out of style. The museum grounds are a favorite for Buffalo NY wedding photography because they provide variety without needing to travel far.

Ceremony & Reception at The Buffalo Launch Club

This venue is one of Western New York’s hidden gems for couples looking for a waterfront wedding with historic charm.

The ceremony took place outdoors near the iconic lighthouse, surrounded by fall colors and water views—an absolutely perfect backdrop for emotional moments and candid storytelling. As the evening continued, the celebration flowed seamlessly into the reception, capped off with a sparkler exit that made for some of the most energetic images of the night.

Review from the Bride 💬Bride and groom portrait at the Buffalo History Museum in Buffalo, New York on their wedding day.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely amazing photographer! Not only did we love our wedding pictures, but he got them back to us in just over a week. We never imagined we would have the pictures so fast but they were not in any way rushed—they were beautiful. Everyone in our wedding party and friends and family mentioned to us throughout the day how much they liked John and what a great job he was doing. We couldn’t be more satisfied. On top of all that, I spent weeks calling photographers in the area and he was by far the best price we found. He’s also such a nice guy!
